About Gui Vasconcelos
Guilherme “Gui” Vasconcelos began his legal career in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree followed by a Master of Laws focusing on Constitutional Law. In Brazil, he gained invaluable experience in litigation and corporate law.
In 2016, he moved to the United States to earn an LLM – Master of Laws – from the University of Texas School of Law. Passionate about serving people and communities, he graduated with Pro Bono Honors for extensive volunteer legal work.
Guilherme is licensed to practice law in both Brazil and Texas. Since 2018, he has demonstrated his dedication to professionalism by becoming a member of the honorary society of the Texas Bar College.
Guilherme worked for six years at the prestigious DJC Law Firm in Austin, Texas. During that time, he managed and litigated more than 500 cases, securing over $8 million in gross settlements for injured clients. He also gained experience managing teams of lawyers when he served as Managing Attorney at Ramos James Law Firm in Austin.
Guilherme is an experienced trial attorney with proven courtroom results. In 2024, he obtained a $4.5 million verdict in Travis County, and in 2025, he secured a $1.3 million verdict in Dallas County. He is an alumnus of TACT—the Trial Advocacy College of Texas—where he trained under some of the most respected litigators in the state. Today, he continues to serve clients as a proud member of both the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers—Top 40 Under 40.
